Mike is born in Courtney Selous Street, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
As a toddler, Mike is often left in a cardboard box, tucked under a tree, while his father, Pete Kibble, hunts tuskers to pay for a pram!
1975 - 1987
Mike’s youth years are strongly influenced by his grandfather, Fred Bartlett, who personally takes him under his wing and teaches him the ropes in the safari business. Strict codes of ethics are applied.
Mike receives his official registration with Namibia’s Ministry of Environment and Tourism as a professional hunter, guiding clients on hunting and photographic safaris.
Obtains his private pilot’s licence.
